By Easter children who were funded increased their sessions but not everyone took 30 hours. The 3 and 4 year old funding makes a huge difference and we are lucky to have extra fundingfor our4 special thildren to buy some fantastic Èquipment We oper) at 8.00am and close at 4.00pm for the parents who need extra hours. We continue to review all our Policies. A Fire Inspection Was held and we received a visit from SKDC regarding Food Hygiene In5pedion and we were awarded 5 stars. Parent Questionnaires are ". given out temily which are then discussed at ourstaff Profe5s1onal Development Meetings held every 6 weeks. We find this a great asset as any improvements orsuggestions from parents are implemented. The chlldren celebrdte many occasions Includin8 Diwalj, Halloween. Children in Need, World Book Day. Christmas Jumper Day, Shrove Tuesday, Motheringsunday, Father's Day. Fundraising is supported by holding rdffles and a collettion of dothing for Bags 2 School. We also support the ￿Ing'S Sthool Toy Bank. The Pump House in the village is decorated by the children to celebrate Christmas. Easter and the summer holidays. and this year the Coronation. We have lots of comments from visitors to the village and people who live in the village look fonvard to seelng the children's creations. Staff continue to update trainlng and staff have l Appraisal and 4 Supervlsions per yèar. Again, we entered 2 tsams in the Rotary Swimarathon with past pupils and parents swimming for u& The Pre-school library continues to be very popular and the books are changed termly. Another highlight is the Christmas Tree Festival in St Wulframs Church and at Manthorpe Church, our theme this year'Twsnkle, Twinkle, Christma5 Star.. Football trainlng was offered to the children which parents paid for, and several children enjoyed the,.: weekly sessions. Thi5 year we purchased Duckling eggs from Incredible Eggs and the children watched the eggs hatrh and the ducklings grow. We had 5 eggs hatch and the children had £reat bathing them and they loved watthing the thildren have lunch. it was amazingseeing them sitting on the perch. This year we were able to do a N*ivity in Manthorpe Church which was packed to capacty and fantastic comments. Graduation fi>r the leavers vR5 held in July. again attended by parents family and friends. School photos was re-introduced. something we have not done fDr years.
