## Manley & Moulodsworth Preschool Annual Report 2022-2023

## Charity Number 1035699

Registered Address Manley Village School Playfields Mobile Unit School Lane Manley WA6 9DU

Chair: Mrs Gemma McTigue Trustees : Mrs Susan Bell Miss Suzanne Bell

We are a community preschool, that offers full wrap around provision for children from the ages 2-11 years of age for the local areas and Local schools Alvanley & Manley.

Over the last few years due to the covid outbreak we have been continuing to provide a lovely place for children to come and have fun while learning. During this time we have continued to provide excellent quality of childcare.

Business has continued to grow due to word of mouth and has seen an increase in children taking up places in both our Preschool but also our wrap around care.

Due to the schools changing whereby the infant school is now based at Manley and Juniors at Alvanley it has given parents more knowledge about us and also the convenience to drop their children off with us all in one place.

We continue to provide collection and drop off for the children at Alvanley needing the wrap around care for the school due to the demand of more parents working.

Our Mission statement

“ Where learning is fun and happiness comes naturally” really remains our motto, the children seem to thrive under our care and all parents seem very happy. The happiness of these children is why we all continue to provide this service. We all love it so much.

## Benefits to the local community

The Preschool is run by dedicated parents and the local community. There where changes to the roles in early 2024 after the great efforts of the chair and secretary during 2023, who raised money for desperate repairs to the building. Without their support we would not of been able to continue the service we provide. During the Childrens time at preschool we encourage them to share, value their friendships, grow in confidence and excel to the best of their capabilities.

## Treasurer Report

During this year we have increased our prices to cover our costs while keeping them at a low, so as to not have such an impact on parents while things are already difficult. Numbers have continued to increase and due to us being wise we have in turn got a profit during the year which has been a long time coming.

## Leaders Report

The preschool is doing well on numbers as well as before and after school provision. The staff continue to provide excellent care in all areas which is why it has such a good reputation, the care they have for the children goes above and beyond. | could not recommend anywhere else to place my children.
