Minutes of Stone Division Girlguiding AGM

Welcome
Lisa Kane, Division Commissioner, welcomed everyone to the first AGM of
Stone Division Girlguiding.
Apologies
Judith Woods read out the list ofApologies that she had received. Please
see attached sheet.
Treasurers Report
Janet Smith explained the figures for our Division Account now that the
two Divisions have amalgamated. It had been a lot of work to combine the
two Division Accounts into one but this has been successfully completed.
Most of the Unit accounts have been audited with just one or two units to
be dealt with in Ihe next week.
Please see the attached sheet.
Division Report
Lisa Kane as Division Commissioner for Stone Division gave her report of
the Activities that Stone Division have been involved with over the last
year.
She showed on Screen the Activities that have taken pla￿ during the last
twelve months.
Please see the attached Report.
International Opportunities
Chloe Westwood, on behalf of four guides from our Division, talked the
meeting through a U Tube video of the activities that had taken place on

the Guides County Trip to India which had taken place previously in the
year.
Agnes, Connie and Freya did a presentation on screen and talked to the
meeting about their County trip to Ireland previously in the year.
Duke of Edinburgh Silver Presentation
Ava May Brown was presented with the Duke of Edinburgh Silver award
that she had gained through Girlguiding.
Name that Tune
Stone Scout and Guide Band played a selection of their music to the
meeting.
This was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
Awards
Lisa Kane presented Long Service Awards to Leaders.
County Commissioner
The County Commissioner thanked Stone Division for the invitation to the
AGM and wished Stone Division every success in the future.
Vote of Thanks
Vote of thanks were given to Mark, Matthew. Terry and Rod for providing
us with breakfast.
A vote of thanks to everyone involved in the AGM was given by Debbie
Turner.
