My apologies for being unable to be present for the AGM but l am pleased to present the
Treasurers Re￿rt for the financial year ended 30 September 2025.
As you will see from the first page, there has been a sutstantial net increase over the year in
the club's bank balances of £26.119.17, with the club ending the financial year with
£69.646.07 in the bank. This indudes a cash reserve of £12,211.80 for emergencies,
together with refundable detKJsits paid for club keys. The available funds are therefore
£57.434.27.
I would just like to highlight a few aspects from the second page of the accounts:
Membershlp and rack fees. which also include5 swimmlng fees and basic competencies for
some sertions of the club have increased from £40,117.76 to £49,563.91 and swim fees from
SeniorslMaster5 ha5 decreased slightly from £2.183.82 to £2.166.47.
Donations and grants have approximately halved from £1.399.21 to £765.78 and Fundraising
receipts are down from £12.235.30 to £9,341.3. When. taking into account the costs of
fundraising (mainly BBQ purthases), the net Profit on fundralsing is £6,663.15 compared to
£9.188.54 in 2024.
Competition fees have cost the club an additional £374.45 over last year. A total cost of
£2.569.35 to cover the Team events.
Hiring of the club has earned £10.595.35 compared to £8,071.80 last year. Additionally. the
bar has raised £4,065.72 but. when we take into account the additM)nal £1.496.35 takings
from the wedding in September. which went into the dub s account in October, the total is
£5,562.07. Very similar to the previous year.
On the final page there are ftjrther breakdowns relating to the lines highlighted on page 2.
Overall, the aub's finances are in a very healthy state going forward but there do still remain
some substantial costs to be paid to ensure that the clubhouse is maintained in good
condition structurally and decoratively as well as upgrading and purthasing of equipment
including the trailer over the next year.

This condudes my rew)rt for the year 202412025. but if anyone has any questlons, that
cannot be ar6wered in my atrsen￿. please leave them wtth Diane and I will get back to you
on my retum.

Club Captains Report 2025:
As Club Captain it has been my privilege to mix with and to see what every section
within the club has done this year. I have been able to attend most events that
have gone on and without singling anyone out it is amazing how we come together
as a club.
We do a lot of really good stuff....
We have strong Ntpper, Youth, Masters and even Seniors (although a lot of them
have become Masters now!)..it 15 always great to see the vibrancy within the
sections.
Training- our people seem to love training and we are luckyto have people who
are always up for it. As a club training nights are well run and always busy
especially in the summer.
have seen more crossovers this year, so for example our Youth members helping
out at other sessions like Nippers & even Masters when cover was needed. I hope
that continues.
We have seen new coaches taking on responsibilty and growing their confidence
with sessions and there seem5 to be more volunteers in the water.
We have made sure that traditional activities continue. whether it is ski paddling.
circuit training and we've added some new things such as yoga.
And of course, competitions. which we have consistently performed well, even if
the venues weren't to every ones liking.
There is still stuff we could do better including......
We have coaches but we need more L2's so leys push that next year.
We need to look after our kit.... too much kit is out of action, and we need to
address that...
The Club.... needs a lot of looking after and we need more people to help with this
Committee positions, we always need help whether tvs the Bar, Finance or doing
maintenance.
We haven't been so good at celebrating as a club no D&D this year...so next year
we must book it early.
I would like to personally thank everyone who has helped me out this year as I
actually wore 2 hats. CC & Maters_..I couldn't do it without the support you give

whether its sorting the competition lists and entries orjust helping with kit on a
training night. We need to encourage more people to get involved with supporting
in all aspects of what we do. thank you also to the committee for all your support
this year, some of you are not standing again and it goes without saying how
grateful we are for your Se￿iCe to the club.
Before you know it we will be into 2026 and the cycle will begin again, lets not rest
on our laurels and lets tske the club forward again into another exciting year.
Thanks again all.
