Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

After the past year of working with in the Covid 19 restrictions things had to return to some kind of ‘Normal’ Numbers of children in September at the start of the Autumn term were good. The setting continues to support an Apprentice.

A member of the team has completed her BA in early childhood studies this further increases the knowledge within the team ensuring the staff team develops its skill to maintain a good quality service. We have been informed by our landlords the Fakenham Town Council, that at some point soon the site of the setting will be used to build a swimming pool for the town. This news has somewhat unsettled the team but when the time comes another suitable venue will be sought. Numbers of children increased throughout the academic year and the setting was at full capacity by the Easter term. This Autumn 10 children have gained the confidence and skills to transition to their reception classes.

We have also supported 3 children with additional needs to develop the skills required to transfer to their respective schools.
