Annual Trustees report 2024/25

Trustees during the 2024/25

Lucy Morris Kerry Nelmes Jessica Duckering Jemma Herring.

Metheringham Pre School is a charity organisation which provides EYFS education to children in Metheringham and surrounding villages. It has a committee which manage the pre school, the day-to-day management of the pre school is by the Pre school leader. We recruit new trustees through committee meetings and invite parents and associates of children attending the preschool to AGMs to attract new trustees.

We have several fundraisers through the year to raise money to buy new resources for the children. We also apply for grants as and where we can. We do get payment for each pupil attending whether that is through private payment or one of the current schemes for 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds funding.

We did have to adjust the employees’ hours and put in place a new salary scale for employees to manage the increase in minimum wage. Something that with more fund raising and advertising of the pre school to increase numbers we hope to be able to reverse this as we value each and every member of staff, who do an incredible job providing the EYFS education to the children in our care./
