The Trustees continue to seek the guidance of the Lord in their work and greatly value the support of others in doing so. They seek to comply with the requirements of the Charity Commission including the need to demonstrate public benefit. They believe that these activities do so. ## **YOUTHFUL DAYS (Editor Keith Wickens)** The pandemic that has affected so many aspects of life this year has affected the distribution of “Youthful Days” as well, though by the grace of God the work of reaching out to those overseas has been able to continue. There have been concerns along the way – would our printer and international mail services remain available, and would young readers abroad still be accessible? Would the Bible classes of more than 500 students in Zambia and Malawi continue, given the closure of many of the churches? In Zambia a few churches have been unable to continue, but again, the commitment of Christian workers there who coordinate local distributions and resorted to house-to-house delivery of “Youthful Days”, has enabled the Gospel message to be circulated. We have lost a few names from the bible class, but new names are appearing, and new churches in place of some that have been hindered. Circulation of almost 3,000 copies of “Youthful Days” has remained fairly constant throughout the year. The magazine is published bi-monthly, of which more than 2,000 are sent free of charge, mostly to Africa. The editor is very grateful to those who have contributed articles in 2020, for the help of Eric McPhail in the provision of the Student Bible class questions and answers and the Word Search. Thanks also to David Greeves for his work for the Gleaners and Searchers age groups 5-11, including the issue of personalised certificates for all; children who participate regularly. Then too there are the regular proof readers, for whose time and counsel the editor is truly thankful. ## **BIBLE DISTRIBUTION OVERSEAS** We continue to distribute Bibles overseas as requested, including places that operate Sunday schools and need them for their attendees, mainly in Zambia. The pandemic has affected communications but we were still able to distribute 4796 Bibles including 1772 direct from the UK. We are thankful to have contacts in Africa in whom we have full confidence and who are dedicated to the work of the Lord. We note the Joy to the World bookshop in Ibadan, Nigeria, and the Zambia Bible Society where we can save shipping costs by sourcing Bibles locally. ## **DISTRIBUTION OF TRACTS PUBLISHED BY BRIAN PARR** We seek to provide supplies of these tracts free of charge to any who wish to use them. Due to the pandemic requests declined significantly in 2020 but demand remains strong: 197,520 tracts were sent out, and toward the end of the year we were able to reprint two additional tracts, (“Jesus for a Bright Tomorrow” and “Jesus gives Peace, real Peace”). It has been encouraging to see fresh ways in which tracts are made available. Some are putting them in boxes outside their houses for passers-by to pick up, and others are posting them door-todoor.
