Berinsfield Earfy Years Preschool has
continued to provide excellent care and
education for children before they start
school.
All the staff are involved in continuous
professional develowent to ensure a
high quality of ure and edU￿tiOn
within the preschool.
There is good co-operation bthe•n the
stsff and the committee.
A good relationship has been nurtured
with parents especially with parents
involved with ￿ndraising and have
rdised a good sum with activities
including treasure hunts and dress up
days. Christmas fairs and cakè sales.
Good rolations with the local community
have been maintained
We celebrated various days throughout
the year including pancake day. World
Book day, Diwali and Chinese New Year

General Reserve- purpose of the
organisation is to provlde preschool
learning to children. Funding comes
from the Local Authority in the fomi of
the Earfy Years Single Funding Fomiula
Grant and fees from non-funded
attendees. Changes in Government
Policy ean significantly influence the
lovel of fee5 and grants the presGhool
roceives. The primary expense incurred
by the organisation is staff salaries.
The level of EYSFF and fees income can
vary according to the number of
attendees in any one terni, but a
reduction in attendees does not
necessarity result in an equivalent
reduction in staffing or other cost&

As a result of the above, the trustees
feel it is prudent to malntaln a g8neral
reserve to secure the conllnued
operation of the organisation should

other unforeseen expendityre in future
periods. The preschool holds a
