Chair’s report 2024.
Good Evening everyone,
I am delighted to stand before you today at the Aston on Trent preschool's Annual General Meeting. It has been a wonderful year filled with exciting events and memorable moments for our children.
One of the highlights of our year was the Halloween trail. The children had a fantastic time exploring the village and enjoying the beautifully decorated homes. They also had the opportunity to collect sweets along the way, making it a truly magical experience for them.
The Christmas disco was another success, with the children dancing the night away and even getting a special visit from Santa himself. The Christmas nativity was a joy to watch, with the children looking absolutely stunning in their costumes. I must give a special mention to Jane and Vanessa for their hard work in making the performance so perfect.
The Easter bonnet parade was a sight to behold, with the children sporting lovely bonnets and showcasing their beautiful singing voices. It was a truly heartwarming event that brought smiles to everyone's faces.
As we look towards the end of the year, we are excited for our upcoming well dressing and graduation ceremonies, as well as a possible summertime disco. These events will be a wonderful way to celebrate the achievements of our children and the hard work of our staff.
Looking ahead to the future, we are making changes to the preschool that we believe will benefit our working parents. This includes improving our wrap around care services to better accommodate the needs of all families.
I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made this year and I am excited for what the future holds for Aston on Trent preschool. Thank you to all of our staff, parents, and children for your continued support and dedication. Here's to another successful year ahead!
Thank you.
