REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31[ST] AUGUST 2025

The Trustees present their report for the 2025 year.

The Association was registered on 23[rd] February 1994 following the Constitution being adopted on the 21[st] September 1993. The Constitution was amended on the 10[th] December 1993 and has been further updated following a review by the Trustees on the 5[th] August 2025.

The current Trustees are Samantha Tucker, Stephen Glover, Deborah Wilson and Angela Royle.

The Association supports Children/Young People in Education and connected activities linked to Willowbank Primary School.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

During 2025 income from donations amounted to £17,929 (2024 £3,000). Income derived from fund raising activities amounted to £11,385 (2024 £6,411), and miscellaneous other income amounted to £1,006 (2024 £578).

During 2025 total expenditure and support of projects amounted to £23,570 (2024 £8,606).

It should be noted that, of the closing cash at bank and in hand at the 31[st] August 2025 of £11,949.54, £5,408.19 relates to “Ring fenced” funds for nominated projects.

The Association continues its donation and fund raising activities and these activities are wholly reliant on the support of Teachers, Family and Friends together with the Trustees.

GOVERNANCE AND RISKS

The Association has no employees and pays no remuneration or reimbursement of expenses to its Trustees.

The Trustees met on ten occasions in 2024/2025, and all of these meetings were open to any associated parent, teacher or friends.

In an attempt to increase engagement, the 2025 AGM also provided for online access to the meeting as well as attending in person.

The Treasurer maintains detailed records, and Receipts and Payments Accounts and detailed explanations are provided at all Trustee meetings.

The accounts for the year ended 31[st] August 2025 were externally examined and did not result in any enquiries or requests for further details. All Trustees are “Hands on”, and financial risks are deemed to be at an absolute minimum.
