Publlc benefft statement In setting our objectives and planning our activitie5, the Trustees of Rotary aub of Halifax Trust Fund have paid due regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. Flnanclal Revlew During the year we raised gross funds of £37.7k (£30.4kl and made donations of £19.Ok1£12.9kl to over 30 different charities/organi5ations, holding cash of £29.2k {£13.9kl at the end of the year. Covld Impacted on our artivities through the year but funds have been raised towards a project in our next financial year. We hold a reserve of £2k {£2k) so that we can respond to emergencies as and when required. Achlevements We were only able to hold l of our 2 major fundraisers. the fountain at Castle Carr event happened in July 2021. The Golf Day was again well supported and was our largest indlvidual fundraiser. The Christmas Shoebox campaign proved popular with local schools and organisations and over 2,0￿ boxes were distributed to local organisations Wlth the Impact of COVID several events for the benefrt of local children were unable to be held.
