The major events this year were a<br>Classic Car event which attracted @3000<br>visitors, a Youth Concert to encourage<br>young local musicians, a bric-a-brac stall<br>on held in town at Farmers Market (to<br>promote Rotary objectives), a wine and<br>cheese tasting event (to promote the<br>Rotary Foundation).<br>Donations were mainly made to local<br>organisations including the Samaritans,<br>Thornaby Food Bank, Crime Stoppers<br>(knife and gang crime), Great North Air<br>Ambulance, BloodRun (volunteer blood<br>transport), Yatton House (activities for<br>people with disability), and other local<br>needs.<br>We actively encourage volunteers to join<br>us.|
