## Rotary Club of Chesham Trust Fund Trustees’ Report for the Year ended 30 June 2025 Trust Deed 

The Trust Deed, dated 10 December 1993, was registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales on 31 January 1994. The registered number is 1032366. 

## Trustees 

The Trustees are Officers of the Rotary Club of Chesham. They are appointed for a twelve month period ending on 30 June each year. 

The Trustees who served during the year were: 

John Harding President Laurence Sharp Secretary Anthony Eginton Treasurer The current trustees, who took office on the retirement of their predecessors, are Mervyn Edwards President Laurence Sharp Secretary Anthony Eginton Treasurer 

## Terms of Trust 

The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and its income upon trust and apply them for the following objectives: 

## Relief of poverty 

Advancement of Education 

Any other exclusively charitable purpose beneficial to the Community as the Club shall in any duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

Financial Report and performance for public benefit 

This year the Trust achieved net receipts of £13,102 (2024 £18,857). Payments were £13,218 (2024 £10,092) representing donations and projects for the benefit of the community 

The fund raises income through the holding of various events and through donations from members of the Rotary Club of Chesham and others. It distributes its funds to various charities and carries out various projects to advance understanding in the community. 

The Trustees consider the sum of £2,500 to be sufficient to enable it to meet its potential giving in the early part of the following year. This current Club policy is regularly reviewed.

## Responsibilities and basis of report 

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).
