Concerns over health<br>diference the charity’s  coupled with difficulty in<br>work has made to the  communication and logistics have<br>circumstances of its  made it a very challenging period.<br>beneficiaries and any<br>wider benefits to society<br>as a whole.<br>However during this last financial year<br>we have continued to respond to the<br>changing and urgent need for food and<br>assistance for the children and families<br>we support.<br>Over the various periods of lockdown<br>in Uganda we have been able to<br>continue to pay the salaries for our<br>teachers and staf. This in turn has<br>helped their families and children to be<br>supported in the difficult time.<br>Our charity works to support some of<br>the poorest and most needy children in<br>Uganda and we know that continuing<br>the support has been a lifeline to these<br>vulnerable young people and their<br>families.<br>This past year we have been able to<br>fulfil our aims through the provision of<br>education, welfare, and support for<br>orphaned and disadvantaged children<br>in rural Uganda.<br>The main activities undertaken during<br>the period have been:<br>● Operating a primary school,<br>which provides education to<br>300+ children from local<br>families.<br>● Providing further education, A-<br>Level courses, Vocational, and<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>




Diploma courses. **●** Providing employment to the staf and members of the local community. **●** Providing food, shelter and health care for children in the villages of Kadunda & Kisimula. **●** During this past year help was provided to directly through sponsorship to the following children: **●** 26 Primary School children **●** 14 Secondary School pupils **●** 1 university business course student **●** 1 nursing student **●** We continue to provide disability support for two young people.

This was due to<br>donations for our building fund not<br>reaching the same level as 2020.<br>Regular sponsorship donations have<br>remained consistent over the past<br>financial year. ## **Financial Review**

As the trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland} 2￿8 Ithe '21X)8 ACYI and the charities
Act 20111'the 2011 A￿}. You are satisfied that the accounts of the Trust are not ￿qUired by charity
law to be audited and have chosen instead to have an independent examination.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusys accounts carried out under section 65 of the
21J)8 Act and 5ertion 145 of the 2011 Art. In carrying out my examination I have followed the
general Dlrections given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 6519llbl of
the 2008 Act and the Direction5 gwen by the Charity Commission for England and Wales under
