Surf Life Saving Devon exists to promote lifesaving in Devon, to support and develop Surf Life Saving clubs in Devon and does this by arranging various competitions, events, training days, updates, information and advice. Surf Life Saving Devon train surf lifesavers in Flood Rescue techniques to save lives in the event of coastal inundation or inland floods.
Objects: A) The Prevention And Reduction Of Loss Of Life By Drowning On Beaches B) Promotion Of Methods Of Surf Lifesaving In All Their Respects. C) To Save Lives And To Promote The Water Safety Aspect Of All Beach Activities . D) To Contribute Towards The Improvement Of The Teaching Methods Of The Above.
