Whitby Whaler U3A aims to increase and widen the provision of informal adult learning opportunities for third agers throughout the Whitby area, to enable members to pursue their interests, keep active and make new friends, improving members lives and enriching the local community.

Objects: 1 To Advance The Education Of The Public And In Particular The Education Of Older People In Whitby And In The Surrounding Locality. 2 The Provision Of Facilities For Leisure Time And Recreational Activities With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Above Persons In The Interests Of Their Social Welfare
