The Puddletown Pre School committee comprising the Trustees and other Committee members manages the policy and management of the affairs of the Playgroup. Trustees and Puddletown Pre School Committee members are re-elected annually at the AGM. The Trustees have had regard of the Charity Commission's public benefit guidance when making decisions. ## **Objectives and Activities** The Playgroup is governed by its constitution adopted on 11 November 1991 and subsequently amended on 15 May 2008.The Playgroup was established to provide regular Pre-School sessions to children aged between 3 and 4 years old. The Playgroup is funded by grants for childcare provision, contributions from parents/guardians and by fundraising events conducted throughout the year. Its charitable aims are - To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups. ## **Financial Review** During the year ended 31 August 2025, the Playgroup had a surplus of £1,926.
