Our Benevolent Account started the year with a baknce of £734.26, finishing the year with £3740.91.
We are grateful to many Lodge members for their gUlar monthly contrlbutlons.
Qur two, Fixed Intsr85t, Dgposit Bonds curr•ntly stsnd at £12,100.05 and £90,000 respeGtively, Interest
from the latter is paid out, annually, amounting to £1969.15.
During the course of the year we only made one donation, to a non- Masonic Charity, of £250. We
believe the pandernic Wds the main reason we did not receNe any other requests for charitable
donations.
We were fortunate thls year to receive a bequest. of £4472.79 from the Widow of a deceased
member. This money has been placed in a Savin85 Account until the next, regular, meeting of
the Trustees, when further decisions will be taken as how best to utilise it in line with the
Donors, wishes.
We, as Trustees, remain confident for the future of our Benevolent Fund & look forward to
renewed 8Ctivity in terms of fundraisin8 & charitable disbursements in line with our aims &
principles.

EXAMINERS REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2021
We have carried out our examination of the Accounts & fd them to be both accurate & correct
in all respects.
The accounting records. namely. the Charity Steward's written records & Bank Statements, are
accurately reflected in the Revenue Account & Balance Sheet.
We are satisfied as to the origin & authenticity of the monies bequeathed to the Benevolent
Fund.
We have not found anything in the accounts or accounting records which might give us Cause for
concern.
