## Oswestry Borderland Rotary Club Charity Report of the Trustees of the Charity for year 2024-5 The Charity benefits from donations (some of which are earmarked for specific causes), collections and sponsored events and distributes funding to local charities & organisations (occasionally to individuals), as well as regional, national and international organisations. The trustees are advised by the members of Borderland Rotary Club on the distribution of funds. In this year our payments outstripped income by £1350. The fundraising activity in 2024/5 was similar to previous year’s although the Xmas Parade and street collection were cancelled at short notice because of Storm Darragh. The pattern of the Charity’s outgoings is similar to recent years with support to local charities and organisations accounting for roughly 70% of the expenditure but this is not a fixed policy. To clarify our support for internation organisations in the accounts this year the Mercy Ship account has been replaced by International.
