Objectives and activities.

With the support and co-operation of parents, we aim to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for the children, where they can:

Play, learn and enjoy themselves.

Develop independence, communication skills and the ability to concentrate.

Learn to co-operate with adults and other children.

Take pleasure in new experiences.

Build self-confidence.

Offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.

Achievements and Performance.

The pre-school continues to be a popular choice for the local parents.

Ofsted October 2019 graded the setting as good overall.

“Children are very happy, settled and confident in this highly nurturing

pre-school.” Ofsted 2019.

Financial Review.

The trustees recommend that the pre-school always has in the bank reserves to cover one term’s expenditure.

STATEMENT OF ASSETS AND LIABILITES

The charity shows a £17,586 deficit for the financial year. Income is lower than in previous years due to a lower intake of children taking up places at the pre-school. Consequentially expenditure was lower. The investment in maintenance and upgrading facilities in previous years allowed maintenance spending to be reduced to a minimum this year.

These accounts have been prepared from bank statements and paperwork provided to me by Red Barn Pre-School.
