Section D Achievements and erformance p

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

Having secured enough funding from St Leonards Lower School and Bedfordshire County Council, a new purpose built building was erected in the grounds of St Leonards Lower School.

Once built there was a huge project to kit out and move the existing preschool in to it.

We took on many more children, opened double the hours and took on more staff.

We continue to maintain a steady number of children at Heath Barn. Usually each September this number drops as the local schools all have a September intake. We are consistently full by the Easter Term each year.

We are registered for 2 year olds, giving priority to all funded children, and accept all types of childcare vouchers currently used by parents. We offer Tax Free Childcare and 30 Hours extended hours funding wherever possible.
