Charity Commission Annual Report 2024-2025
Present: Julie Windsor, Jackie Ellison, Jacki McClarnon, Kelly Kaill, Sara Windsor, Emma Chabouk, Kyra McClarnon
Our finances have fluctuated throughout the year, as a result of different amounts of children in the cohort being eligible for grants from the local authority, and many receiving free places. We increased the childcare fees to cover rising costs.
The staff have been in high spirits and the children are doing well - we have regular good feedback from and relations with the parents.
We had an Ofsted inspection in the summer term, where we received a ‘Good’ report with only minor improvement feedback.
We were able to make some improvements to the garden, including removing old equipment and clearing some of the greenery, as well as reorganising our corridor. We are still hoping to replace the damaged sheds when we have the funds to do so.
We hosted a boat trip to conclude the year and paid for the coach travel for parents and children.
