The year has been successful overall.

We had a large cohort of children between the terms of Autumn 2021 – Summer 2022, near to full capacity, however this has decreased since Autumn 2022 – we are assuming this is due to parents finding it more difficult to afford childcare with the cost of living crisis.

Our situation with the lease remains the same, and we were able to redecorate the site; the main rooms, office and washroom were all repainted, with new blinds in the kitchen and a deep clean of indoor equipment, including the carpets.

We have been organising our equipment and materials, and have donated some of our old toys and books to parents – these are available in a box for them to browse through and take home if desired.

In the coming year we are hoping to spend more time in the garden with the children – we plan to deep clean the outdoor equipment and our Play houses.

We are also hoping to go on some class trips as we were unable to do that this year. We did however get a new Santa to come in and talk to the children, which they thoroughly enjoyed.
