TREASURERS REPORT
Really pleased to see that we are keeping things together in this current climate and everyone works tirelessly to contribute towards our Sports Club.
Xmas Bingos this year were really good as well considering cost of living and special thanks to all who gave their time and contributed time ,money and prizes.
Increases in most utilities as per normal.General work and maintenance costs have really increased over the past year although keeping expenses down as much as possible ,doing only essential maintenance.Fundraising has and always will be paramount to keeping the Club going and in a good financial position and any help, be it volunteering or financial is very well appreciated..
Easy fundraising is another tool that we can all get involved in,to register online and whenever shopping online done at various outlets then a percentage goes to your Club,so this is an option for us all to get involved in as it will only increase as more get involved and any of the Committee Members can help with the process.Joining our monthly 100 Club also at £1 per month is good fundraising and enables the monthly draw for Members benefit of £25.00 £10.00 and £5.00 in 1[st] second and third prizes.
The Netball ladies are having a good time with their two Teams and now the Juniors,with a waiting list! Amazing. Hockey with the one League Team has won promotion and a fantastic achievement .Junior Hockey is also increasing in numbers and games with a few Tournaments.Big thanks must go to all the Volunteers for the Sections,it takes a lot of time and commitment.Football continues to thrive under new Management and the Teammwon the County Cup with a fantastic performance.The Cricket Team have kept the interest going and fielding regular Members.All Sports doing brilliantly which is what the Club is all about.
A big thankyou to all the Committee Members and Members of the various Sports Sections who give their time to the Club and to their Sport.Also to the wonderful Sponsors who have contributed over the past year.The ground has been kept beautifully thanks to Steven and helpers,all exceptional with their support and time
We have really good facilities here for the Community and Members as a whole and we look forward to the next Season and years ahead to continue with the current and next generations of Sports players and supporters.
