Devizes YFC Trustees report: 

Devizes have had another successful year winning the county rally once again it is wonderful to see the success of the members hard work. We are the largest club in the county with 86 members. 

We have enjoyed a varied programme with regular meetings including the pumpkin patch, a farm visit at Lackham College with members learning new skills from Avon Farm Vets. 

The club has joined in with the community at the Lantern parade  in Devizes Market Place. As well as our tractor run thanks to all the volunteers for helping to make the tractor run a success with over 100 tractors taking part it was a great success raising funds for charity. 

The club also took part in county events with the Harvest Festival in Salisbury Cathedral as well as the social events night hike and the build up of rally competitions! 

Thank you to all of the supporters and hosts for helping to make our events happen.

Notes for 2024/2025 yfc  financial year. 

Please note the paid back errors are returned over payments to members. 

I put all the early sponsorship payments as the clubs totaling 3700 then later ones as Tractor run donations, if this is wrong, they will need moving across and re-adding up. 

This year the club items are a tug of war rope. 

The tractor run donations included the carol singing money. 

The bank initially returned the clothing cheque for 3263.18 so this went out came back in and went out again on the bank statements. 

3500 has been paid into the savings account so not technically a cost as such but included. 

The ‘, sum up money’, “ some were allocated to columns highlighted red but might be in the wrong columns , the  two payments totaling 1037.3   I couldn’t tell if this was for the ball or membership the correct allocation might affect the profits of your 2024 ploughman’s ball or not, so needs watching. 

The deposit of 2025/2026 years ploughman’s ball totaling 2010 has come out of these 2024/2025 accounts. It is probably unavoidable for early balls, but do try where possible to have all transactions for one year ending by the 31[st] August and beginning after the 1[st] September for the next. 

I am presuming that all other transactions for the year were completed before the 31[st] Aug 2025 otherwise this next bit will not be correct.
