Fundraising and donation policy The charity sets an annual fundraising target
aligned to specific requests made by the
school, which in turn are aligned to the
charity’s objectives. These are approved at
the AGM. These requests are prioritised, in
case fundraising target is not reached.
The charity makes an annual donation at
the end of the year, the sum of which is
aligned to the actual cost of the items
requested at the AGM (which is sometimes
different to the forecast amount).
Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the Social / fundraising events raised
charity about £21,320, including:

Family appeal raised: £62,526 through
standing orders, payroll giving and from one
off donations.. The charity received Gift Aid
claims from HMRC equal to £14,750
The charity funded school transport, sport
and outdoors equipment, IT equipment,
provided assistance to disadvantaged
students to attend after-school clubs,
subsidized musical tuition and made
contributions to specialised sports coach
costs. In total, this amounted to £100,000, of
which £100,000 was paid to the school

Policy on reserves We hold cash at bank of at least £5,000 in
order to be able to provide continuity.
