Fundraising and donation policy
**The charity sets an annual fundraising target aligned to specific requests made by the school, which in turn are aligned to the charity’s objectives. These are approved at the AGM. These requests are prioritised, in case fundraising target is not reached.**
**The charity makes an annual donation at the end of the year, the sum of which is aligned to the actual cost of the items requested at the AGM (which is sometimes different to the forecast amount).**
Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity **Social / fundraising events raised £13,262,** during the year **including:**

- Xmas fair

**Family appeal raised: £29,827 through standing orders, payroll giving and from oneoff donations. Corporate donations brought an additional £5,000. The company received Gift Aid claims from HMRC for the previous 3 years equal to £8,031.79**
**The charity funded school transport, IT equipment, provided assistance to disadvantaged students to attend after school clubs, subsidized musical tuition and made contributions to specialised sports coach costs. In total, this amounted to £55,000.**
Financial review Policy on reserves **We hold cash at bank of at least £5,000 in order to be able to provide continuity. During the year the bank balance grows approximately by £621.**
