Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	Malborough with South Huish Pre-School provides high quality early years educaton and care for children aged 2 to 4 years. The charity aims to support children's learning and development through play-based experiences in a safe, inclusive and stmulatng environment whilst preparing them for their transiton to primaryschool.
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.	Para 1.17 and 1.19	During the year the Pre-School provided early years educaton and childcare for up to 27 children aged between 2 and 4 years. Actvites were planned in accordance with the Early Years Foundaton Stage (EYFS) framework and focused on supportng children's personal, social, emotonal, physical and educatonal development. In additon to regular educatonal actvites, children partcipated in community and fundraising events including a sponsored walk, Christmas Fair, Sports Day and Halloween Party. Educatonal visits were undertaken to East Soar Farm, providing opportunites for children to learn about the natural environment and local community.

Para 1.20	The Pre-School contnued to provide a high standard of early years educaton and care throughout the year for children aged 2 to 4 years. Children benefted from a varied programme of learning opportunites, outdoor experiences and community actvites. Fundraising events including the sponsored walk, Christmas Fair, Sports Day and Halloween Party helped strengthen community engagement and provided additonal support for the charity's actvites. Educatonal visits to East Soar Farm enhanced children's understanding of the local environment and provided valuable learning experiences outside the classroom. The trustees are pleased that the charity remained fnancially stable whilst contnuing to meet the needs of children and families within the local area.

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	The charity recorded income of £86,133.53 and expenditure of £81,567.15 during the year, resultng in a surplus of £4,566.38. Total funds held at 31 August 2025 amounted to £33,692.63. The trustees consider the fnancial positon of the charity at the year end to be satsfactory and sufcient to support the ongoing operaton of the Pre-School.
