At<br>Christmas time the children decorated Christmas<br>cards and enjoyed a Xmas party in the village hall.<br>Other staff led projects included Bingo/Raffle<br>fundraiser March 2023 raised nearly £1700,<br>Summer fayre/summer raffle with the primary<br>school. Coop fund raised £3158 more to go towards<br>ourgarden revamp.|

Happy, competent,<br>and individual learners was a result of the<br>difference we have made since those children and<br>families stepped through our door.<br>Throughout the year various fun learning topics<br>were covered including:  All about me, Woodland<br>animals, Superheroes, Valentines and Mini beasts.<br>We had caterpillars in the setting,<br>the children watched the caterpillars turn into<br>beautiful butterflies and we let them go free. We<br>celebrated Chinese New Year, Scottish burns night,<br>Pancake Day and pumpkin carving/soup which<br>included some delicious food tasting sessions. Our<br>afternoon sessions have a daily focus including<br>village walks, cookery, science fun, music and<br>movement, sensory and messy play.<br>We also had a visit from the local veterinarian<br>nurse.<br>Our annual celebrations included our Christmas<br>Singalong at St Mary’s Church and our Summer trip<br>to Moors ValleyCountryPark in June 2023. We|





were also able to have our annual apple pressing day in Autumn 2022. We continue our links and support with the local and wider community. Staff training has seen staff continue their professional development throughout the year, to support and develop knowledge and support the children’s needs that are in our care, plus networking with other colleagues from other settings to share best practice.

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
