Special visitors including dentist, vet and police to teach children about how to stay safe and care for themselves and others. Assessing and referring children or families to outside agencies for appropriate support. |

| There were 36 children on our register throughout | ||
| the year and 19 of these moved onto school at the | ||
| beginning of September. Happy, competent and | ||
| individual learners was a result of the difference | ||
| we have made since those children and families | ||
| stepped through our door. | ||
| Throughout the year various fun learning topics | ||
| were covered including: All about me, Woodland | ||
| animals, Superheroes, Valentines and Mini beasts. | ||
| We had tadpoles and caterpillars in the setting, | ||
| the children watched the caterpillars turn into | ||
| beautiful butterflies and we let them go free. We | ||
| celebrated Chinese New Year, Scottish burns | ||
| night, Pancake Day and Baba Marta which | ||
| included some delicious food tasting sessions. Our | ||
| afternoon sessions have a daily focus including | ||
| village walks, cooking, science fun, music and | ||
| movement, sensory and messy play. We also had a | ||
| visit from the local veterinarian nurse. | ||
| Our annual celebrations included our Christmas | ||
| Nativity play “Shine Star Shine” in the church. We | ||
| had fun with Coach Jon from Dinky Active with the | ||
| children on a weekly basis. We continued our links | ||
| and support with the local and wider community. | ||
| We took a walk through our village to Alan Berry’s | ||
| Apple pressing farm, where the children helped to | ||
| press the apples and try some of the lovely apple | ||
| juice. Staff training has seen staff continue their | ||
| professional development throughout the year, to | ||
| support and develop knowledge and support the | ||
| children’s needs that are in our care, plus | ||
| networking with other colleagues from other | ||
| settings to share best practice | ||
| Due to the Coronavirus we were closed from | ||
| March 2020 opening for key worker children only. | ||
| We went into full lockdown from April until | ||
| 22ndJune when we reopened. | ||

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2020
Responsibilties and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
