Friends of Little Sutton School Report of the Trustees for the Year Ended 30 September 2024 The Trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 30 September 2024. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY The principal activity of the charity in the year under review was supporting Little Sutton Primary School and its pupils in any way needed, including providing additional equipment and resources to the school. The charity carries out fundraising events throughout the year. TRUSTEES The Trustees during the year under review were: Michael Hammond Kirstie Lynam (resigned 20 September 2024) Heidi Smith (appointed 20 September 2024) Jennifer Kelly (appointed 20 September 2024) RESERVES As the charity has no ongoing commitments or liabilities, the Trustees have decided that they do not need to set a minimum level of reserves. PUBLIC BENEFIT The Trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission in exercising their powers or duties. ACCOUNTING POLICIES The financial statements have been prepared using cash-based (receipts & payments) accounting practice. Cash-based accounts are not prepared on an accrual basis and therefore the Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice does not apply to these accounts. Friends of Little Sutton School Independent Examinerfs Report Independent examiner's report to the Trustses of Friends of Little Sutton School I report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of Friends of Little Sutton School (the Charity) for the year ended 30 September 2024. Responsibilities and basis of report As the Trustees of the Charty you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordan￿ with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act). I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act: or 2. The accounts do not accord with those records. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
