section D Achievements and performance[main] hein[of][ the] : We ran 380 pre-school sessions of morning 3 hours, afternoon 2.5 achievements . hours and 6 hour all day sessions with packed lunch. We have all day during the yearof the charity session on Tuesday,; Wednesdayon and Thursday. In total reaching 37 children and their families. Also ran 114 baby and toddler sessions of 2.5/2.75 hours each this year, reaching approximately 45 children per week. 

The Pre-school children have enjoyed many activities this year including a coach trip to Ashton Court, where they played, had lunch and found out more about nature and animals. We have had trips to our local parks for a nature trail and sports day. Went to St Nicholas Church for Easter, Harvest festival and Christmas Nativity. 

Visits to local garden centre at Christmas time to see the Christmas decorations. We attend a weekly forest school at Whitchurch Primary School. At Forest School we learn about nature and complete natural craft activities, have stories and sing. We also have a raised bed where we weed, dig, plant and harvest. 

We studied lots of different topics throughout the year: ; Numberblocks — Numbers, shapes & Colours; Harvest Festival: Autumn and Nature Trail; Fireworks Night; Diwali; Remembrance Day; “All the Colours of Christmas”; Winter; Birds; ‘The Naughty Bus’ Lunar New Year; Valentine’s Day; Healthy Eating and Healthy Teeth; Ramadan; Eid; Mother’s and Father’s Day; Emotions and Feelings; Easter and Spring; First Aid; Road Safety; Farm; V.E. Day: Caterpillars; Holidays and Festivals and Going to School. 

We have raised funds for other charitable organisations e.g. Comic Relief and Children in Need. We held a MacMillian Coffee Morning We have regular Show and Tell days and the children have weekly P.E. sessions with a trained P.E. Professional. Near the end of the academic year we have visits to local schools to help in their transition to Primary School.
