St Nicholas Pre-school is a member of the Early Leaming Alliance who
provides advice where necessary. The Pre•school is also Ofsted
Registered.
We have good relats'onships with our local schools, particulary INhrtchurch
Primary and Bridge Farm School who allow us to use their hall for PE
sessions and Library in line wrth our planned themes.
We hold Professional Indemnitylmanagement Protection Insurance.

Achievements and performance
We ran 380 pr&school sessions of moming 3 hours, afternoon 2.5
hours and 6 hour all day sessions with packed lunch. We have all day
session on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In total reaching 40
children and their families.
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
Also ran 114 baby and toddler sessions of 2.512.75 hours each this
year, reaching approximately 45 children per week.
The Pre-school children have enjoyed many activities this year
including a coach trip to Ashton Court. where they played, had lunch
and found out more about nature and animals.
We have had trips to our local parks for a nature trail and sports day.
Went to St Nicholas Church for Harvest festival and Christmas
Nativity.
Visits to local garden centre at Christmas time to see the Christmas
decorations.
This year we started attending a weekly forest school at Whitchurch
Primary School. At Forest School we leam about nature and
complete natural craft activities, have stories and sing. We also have
a raised bed where we weed, dig, plant and harvest.
We studied lots of different topics throughout the year: . Mr Men and
Little Miss- Shapes & Colours: Road Safety" All About Me,. Autumn
and Nature Trail. Halloween,. Fireworks Night., Diwali" Remembrance
Day.. Gross and Fine Motor Skills Weeks" traditional stories. Lunar
New Year. Taking Care of yourself - Healthy Eating and Healthy
Teeth: Motherfs Day; Easter and Spring; First Aid,. Pets. Caterpillars
and Going to School.
We have raised funds for other charitable organisations e.g. Comic
Relief and Children in Need. We held a Macmillian Coffee Morning
We have regular Show and Tell days and the children have weekly
P. E. sessions with a trained P.E. Professional.
Near the end of the academic year we have visits to local schools to
help in their transition to Pnmary School.

We try to ensure that the charty has reserves in the bank for emergency
situations.

Most of the charity's funding has been in the fonn of funding from the
Local Education Authority. Children who are not eligible for funding pay
fees, as do the children attending the baby and toddler groups.
Additional funds have been gained from fundraising initiatives for
example, Nativity DVD sales and Christmas Raffle. We have also
received small donations from local organisations.

chaTity {Ihe Trust.) for the year ended 3110812024.
Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charty's trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance wrth the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
('the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
examinerfs ststement come lo my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
disclosed below ") which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordan￿ with section 130
of the Chanties Act. or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
