RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER
The charity's trustee5 consider that an audit is not required for this year lunder sectlon 43121 of
the Charltles Act 1993 (the Actll and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responslbility to
examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Attl,
to follow the procedure5 lald down In the General Direttions given by the
Charity Commission (under section 4317llbl of the Act), and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
My examination was carried out in accordance wlth General Direttions given
by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the
accountlng records kept by the tharity and a comparison of the account5
presented with those record5. It also includes consideratlon of any unusual
item5 or disclosures in the account5. and seekin8 explanations from the
trustees concernlng any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and
consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
In the course of rny examination, no matter has come to my attention
1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect,
the Irustees have not mel the requiTements to ensure that .
proper accountlng records are kept lin accordance with Section 41 of

The Trustees are pleased to present the annual report iogether with consolidated financial
statemenis of the charity for the year ending 28 January 2025.
It is Teasonable to note Ihat due to delays In the preparation of the accounts, the trustees were
unable to followdue process. This meant that the trustees were unable to be fully involved in the
compilation ol accounts at an earliei stage. That said, the accounts have been approved and
Signed off byour accounranl.
The8ross incomeofthe Bhagwan Vaimik Mandir amounted to £129,587.00 ofwhich £689.OOwas
interest. Our donations and Ramaala's weie down from our previous year ot £25,662.00
amounting 10 £24.855.00.
The financi81 statements comply with the Charities Act 2011, the Memarandum of Articles of
Associaiion. and the Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement ol Recommended
Practice applicable to charilies pipparing their accounts in accorddnce with the Financial
Reporting StandaTds appllcable Irb the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January

Our purposes and activities.
The purpose ol the charity Is:
To advance the teachings of Bhagwan Valmik Ji and the Yoga Vasistha Maharamayana in the
county ol Bedford and its environs
Toassist in the ielief of poverty. sickness, and dlstress in any part of the worl
In shaping our aims and objectives of the year. rhe charity continues to hold its weekly Sunday
service and support Ihe community. religious and cultural events, along with broadcasting the
teachings of Bhagwan Valmik Ji on Kanshi TV. This has hetped us to continueto fullil the charity's
aim in advancingthe teachin8s of Bhagwan Vaimik Ji an(1 reach a larger audience.
Objectives and activitie3 for the Public:
We actively encourage all in the Valmiki Community tlirough the Sunday Service. BVS website
and congreEation communication groups to participate In activities and help builcl a larger
support network within Bedlordshire.
Community Projects
Charltablo Work and Helplng to BulldAwareness of Bhagwan Valmlkl JI Sabha
Classes are held to help support our congregation. A safe space where ali the congregation can
attend and discuss thelr wellbeing and request any support they may require. This also allows
our elderly congregatlon members to stay connected with membefs of the community. Tea and
refreshments are supplied.

Local communities joined together to partiCiP8te in a Sports Day. Our aim is to work alongside

Members of our congregation visited the Houses of Parli8ment to celebrate Bhagwan Valmiki Ji's
Pargat Diwas. Coach arrangements and refreshments on this speci81 occasion were provided by

The ExecLrtive Committee are reviewing options for the new building project. Once reviewed,
these will be shared with the congregation.
