Summary of tho maln achi•vom•nls during the period The pre-school and the children have had a dffjcult year, with the Second half of the year severely affected by Covid. We were cbsed from March 2020 and did nol ieopen until Septembei 2020 8rKI had to use £1,000 of our savings lo cover wages, atthough we dMI claim Ihe CJRS grant. During the year, we raised £2.247 through events. wh￿h were understsndably affecled by Covktt reslriclions The Xmas Bazaar raised £1.987. which includes a very generous fund matching donation of £1,000 from one of our famil￿, bLrt we were unable to hold our May Fayre evenl and oui annual cake sa￿. We cuffenuy have 28 children on the register and places available next tem). Oui Wa￿"ng list is open to au chiklren and enty is based on Surrey County Counol's schools 8dmiSs￿n policy. We continue to be involved tn the Irtsl ¢(MThnunty. ￿Trth slfong links to the primary schools next dcÉ)T. We Invite the Iccal communrty to oui major events. including ¢ake sales. the Christmas Bazaar and May Fayre. The chikyren do a sponsored event.. the event includes the support artd help of the k)cal communrty lo raise funds to benefit the pre-school children of 8an51ead by provmling a much needed and used setting.
