We are a comrnunity-based village Pre-school. runninE in purpostrbuilt premises in the grounds of
Swanton Abbott CP School situated in a quiet comer of the village with parking. The room is well
equipped with excellent facilities for children from the age of two years to School age. There is a
large outdoor play area. and the children (2n play freely inside or out, which are Ofsted regulated.
We are a regÉstered charity and are run by a committee of parents/caiers. We follow the Danish
Hygge approach (pronounced Hue-gahl. It is all a￿ut living well. It focu5es on being in the moment
and embracing the feelings of warmth. SiFnplicwly, and togetherness. We are also members of the
Wanderlust nature study.

Thisyearstsrted off strong with 15 children which was 2 more than lastyear, and by the summer
term 25 we had 19. We have continued to work hard getting our name out there on social media
and word of mouth and hope that now the attached primary school is picking up drdmatically in

their numbers this year. we will also continue in the uptum of numbers.
After a lot of work, we finally got our sustainabiltty grant and was awarded £6.616.lJ). This has
helped us greatly keep on top of things.

As the charity's trustees. you are reswnsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charrties Act 2011
("the Acr)
I report in respect of my examinath)n of the Trust's ac¢ounts carried out
under section 145 ofthe 2011 Act and in carying OLrt my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under sedion 145(5)(b) of the Act.
