The year started off with 11 children. and very unusually we did not have any more new starts
throughout this period. This took a massNe toll on the Pre-school staff and finances. and we had to
make some very tough decision5. The biggest decision was to make redundanties, and we had to
lose one member of staff.
To survive come the new September temi the Committee members and staff have been dedicated

this year to advertising and getting our name out there and although we said goodbye to 6 school
leavers come July. we are going into September 2023 wtth 11 back on the register and more possible
Starts for Ortober. We are hopeful that the January and Easter in takes will be just as positive, as we
have had a lot of Inte￿5t on our social media accounts and more viewings than the whole of the last
year.
We were also advised by one ofthe Early Years advisors and tt v￿S suggested we appty for a
sustainability grant, so we have set the wheels in motion forthis also.
We welcomed 2 new guinea pigs to the Pre-school which the children have adored looking after and
managed some wonderful family events and fundraising.
