Notes on the Accounts

These accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis in line with Charity Commission guidelines.

No statement of Assets and Liabilities has been prepared as all equipment funded is the property of the school and not the Parent Teacher Association.

  1. Fundraising Activities (Income)

Income from Fundraising Activities derived from the Summer and Winter Fairs, Halloween Disco, Movie Night, Quiz Night, Kids 2025 Challenge, Firewalk/Legowalk event, Ice Cream sales and other smaller fundraising initiatives held during the year.

  1. Donations

Donations of £6,415.89 comprise Charities Aid Foundation donations, regular parental donations, donations gifted at events and donations received through parental workplace charitable giving schemes.

£1,500 of the total was a restricted Charities Aid Foundation donation gifted for the Year 6 Leavers’ party and subsequently paid out (see Note 4 — General Expenses).

3. Miscellaneous Income

| Miscellaneous Income includes income from a charity competition win and a banking compensation payment. 4. General Expenses General Expenses comprise PTA expenses, platform expenses for online and Gift Aid donations and a one-off £1,500 restricted Charities Aid Foundation donation paid out for the Year 6 Leavers’ party.

General Expenses were higher than the previous year due to the £1,500 payment for the Year 6 Leavers’ party, which was covered by a donation from Charities Aid Foundation, and the Parent Teacher Association funded the 2023/2024 Year 6 Leavers’ yearbook and the j 2024/2025 Year 6 Leavers’ yearbook in the same financial year.
