Total f unding f or 2023-2024 was £148.617.16 a 4.879 /0 increase on last year. West
Northamptonshire County council f undin9 was £119,700.63 - an increase of 29.51 /.. Parents fees
were £27.760.79 - a decrease of 43.67% f rom last year, this is due to the new f unding criteria,
allowing children f rom two to be funded.
Fundraising was £1,155.74 - 313,71 /0 up down last year. This f undraising is made up of commission
f rom photO9raphs taken of the children who were leavin9 the setting and a Christmas f ete
f undraiser.

costs were up 18.162 /. f rom last year, An additional staff member was kept on due to children
with special educational needs, but hours were reduced.
Salary costs were £99,866.67.
Children's activities decreased to £829.90 f or the year. These included many imaginative craf ts and
outdoor activities. Equipment was also bought f or special educational needs.
Utilit
costs (Electricity, water and bin collection) decreased by 35.75 /. f rom last year to
£7,092.86. This is due to a change in Electricity company.

printer ink and ICT apps decreased f rom last year by 2.47/0 at £4,295.14.

Site Maintenance including the annual and monthly service charges for Chubb, PHS duty of care, and
Onyx CCTV security, we also had new exterior doors f itted, the ramp was taken away and replaced by
steps and a new water pump f or the toilets and water supply, there was increased of 205.542 /. to
£5,823.57,
Children's snacks, tea, cof f ee. and cleanin9 materials make up the sundry total of £1,685.21, an
increase of 28 /0 on last year's £1,316.40.
Miscellaneous including D85 checks and annual Ofsted f ee, Christmas party presents and
decorations, Music licence and lottery fee to West Northamptonshire Counci I, two trips to the farm
f or the disadvantaged children, McAf ee security f or laptops, A VG licence, off ice for the computers,
website costs, a new laptop f or of f ice Use and an App to communicate with parents, this is an
increase of 188.118 /• and cost at £6,674.35.
Phone and broadband costs were £1,206.64, a 1.617. decrease f rom last year due to changing
providers.
Insurance is £889.64, which includes PLA membership; this is the same as last year.

items, such as new outdoor climbin9 f rame and new tables f or the main room in the mobile classroom.

Fees

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trust") for the year ended
Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
("the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5)(b) of the Act.
Independent [The charity's gross income exceeded £250,000 and l am qualified to
examiner's statement undertake the examination by being a qualified member of [insert name of

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
disclosed below ') which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act. or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.

with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
