## Activities

**Objects:** TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE SUPPORT OF THE COLNE VALLEY YOUTH ORCHESTRA, THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND BY SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE SOCIETY THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.

**Activities:** Encouraging young musicians from the Colchester and surrounding area in Essex to meet on a regular basis to rehearse as a Youth Orchestra and give concerts, some for parents and friends and some public concerts, for the benefit first and foremost of these young people and for the general pleasure of those attending.
