A Registered Charity 2 g ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31°' AUGUST 2025 Milton Park Pre School holds a Pre School Learning Alliance constitution, this now known as the Early Years Alliance, and is a registered charity, number 1028156. : We first started holding a preschool for 16 children in 1982. This year we had 49 children on register. = We held our usual open morning for new children and parents in 2 sessions to allow parents and children to meet us properly and to look around. Our returning children settled well and our new children settled quickly and adjusted well into the preschool environment and our routines. All other staff have continued to attend training courses and workshops where applicable to ; be able to keep up to date with any changes and safeguarding training in line with c regulations. Some training still continues to be undertaken online through Teams although a ° lot of training is now back to attending face to face. ; We continue to hold a waiting list offering spaces for 2,3 and 4 year olds but still keeping | within our adult /child ratio limits and this continues to look healthy for the next year. 4 After the Easter break, as we usually do, we contacted prospective new children who were | on our waiting list who wanted like to start in September 2025, by telephone and email to i see if they still wanted a place for their child starting in September 2025. We then continued to arrange an open morning for parents to visit with their child in June | 2025, this was successful and we only had a couple of quieter afternoons at that time, but ) this usually fills up in September. | Also before the end of the Spring term our assistant manager gave notice to leave as she had asked if she could reduce her hours due to her personal child care. Unfortunately, due to her job role as assistant manager this was not something that we were unable to accommodate. : lt was decided that we would have a room leader role to manage the session day to day to | support the managerial team rather than an assistant manager, this was advertised inhouse : |

first and was filled by a current member of staff, we then advertised for a level 3 keyworker practitioner.
Due to time scales, the response of potential applicants and the amount of children that were due to start in September 2025, we decided to look to fill the role in the Autumn term. The object of the charity is to provide a safe, happy and caring environment where all children the age of two years and up will have the opportunity to develop their learning skills and understanding of the world. We work very hard to give the children a curriculum which covers all of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
