Chairpersons report YE 2025 Playmates Preschool provides preschool education for 2 to school age in and around Thatcham, Berkshire. Our mission is not only to prepare our children for their transition to school, but also to provide support to our children and their families where needed. The preschool is based on the grounds of Whitelands Park Primary School. It is run by a committee of parents elected at the Annual General Meeting. This committee employ the staff; a Manager and 9 assistants, who are responsible for all the children in their care, and the day to day activities of the group. The preschool follows the The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. The financial year 24-25 has been better than previous years, and we have been able to set aside funds for future financial stability. Once again, we are full for the next education year.
