Chairpersons report YE 2021 Playmates Preschool continues to provide preschool education for 2 to 4 year olds in and around Thatcham, Berkshire. The preschool is based on the grounds of Whitelands Park Primary School. The Pre-school has remained open during the pandemic, following government guidelines. Throughout the pandemic and safeguarding staff and children has been our main priority. It has continued to challenge the team as we have had to adapt our way of working to adhere to government guidance, often with very little warning. It has been a stressful time for all, but the staff have been fantastic, supporting children and parents though trying times. The preschool continues to thrive and once again we are full with a waiting list. There are no serious incidents to report.
