The dlrectors and trustees have pleasure in presentlng thelr report and the flnancial statements of
the charlty for the y.ear ended 31 December 2024. All trustees of the charty are dlrectors of the
company. The directots and trustees have adopted the provlsions of the Statement of
Recommended Practi￿ (SORP) °Accountlng & Reportin8 by Chartties. (FRS102) In preparln8 the
annual ￿port and financial statements of the chartty.
STRucfuRE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Govemlng document
The charty was incorporated as a company Ilmited by guarantee on 22nd June 1993 and the act￿ftleS are
governed by Its Memorandum and Artldes of Assoclatlon. It Is registered as a tharity with the Charlty
Commlssion.
Organlsational structure and management
The dlrectors and trustees can be appolnted lry both the exlstlng dlrectors and trustees or at a general
meetlng. There ts no other person or body of persons entltled to appoint one or more charity trustees other
than existlng trustees.
The tharlty ts admlnlstered ty the Board and supported by a number of volunteers.
All trustees of the charty are also directors.
The directors and trustees who served the charlty during the year to the date of thls report were as follows:

Related parties
The charlty. whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherlne, made no payments in the current year {2023:
£3A48) to The Foundatlon of HRH Crown Prlncess Katherfne in Bel8rade In Serbia but Is Independent of
thts body. This payment In 2023 was to asslst with the purchase of equipment detectln8 breast cancer.

The charlty has a confllct of interest pollcythat predudes any trustee beneffttlng from a financlal gain arlsing

Under the objects of the cornpany the charity was set up to provide relief supplles in any area, region or
country in the world for persons and In partkular chlldren, who are sufferlng hardship or dtstress by
reason of their lack of food. clothtn& shelter or medlcal supplles of all klnds elther by direct actlon or by
supportlng other charltles whlch are wlstered In England and Wales or organlsation5 which have
charitable purposes in accordance with the law in England and Wales.
The charlty's objectives dld not cha￿e in the year.
Flnancial review. activltles and achievements
Durlng the year there were was one major actlvity whlch was the holdin8 of a 8ala dlnner to ralse funds.
The Charfty's net outgoing resour￿ for the year were £(1.709) (2023: net out8oin8 resources (£2,997).

The Trustees consider that the flnandal posltlon and reserves of the chartty are sattsfactory.
Reserves pollcy
The Charlty's Trustees have deterniined that re5erve5 may be maintslned at a low level whllst stlll enabllng
the charlty to meet effectively the needs desi8nated by Its trusts. Thls policy wlll be revlewed should
overheads increase to a rnaterial extent in the future.
Publlc benefrt
The Charlty's Trustee5 have complled wlth thelr duty under Sectlon 17{5) of the 2011 Charltles Act to have
due regard to guldance published by the Charities Commisslon when reviewin8 the Trust's alms and
objective5 and in planning future actlvities whether In the nature of incomlng or outgolng resources.

of the accounts. The trustees consider that an audlt is not required for thts year under sertion 144 of the Charfties Att 2011
(the 2011 Att) and that an Independent examination is needed.

I. ACCOUNTING POUCIES
The prlncipal accountlng pollcies are summarfsed below. The accounting policles have been applled consistentty
throughout the year and In the precedln8 year.
(a) Basls of accountlng
The financlal statements have been prepared underthe historkal cost convention.
The financial statements of the charitable company, which Is a public benefrt entity under FRS102, have been
prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reportlng by Charitles." Ststement of Recommended Practlce
appllcable to charltles preparing their accounts In accordance wlth the Sinancial Reportlng Stsndard 102
(effectlve 1st January 2015) Yhe Flnancial Reportlng Standard applicable in the UK and Republlc of Ireland, and
the Companies Act 2006 together with the Charities Act 2011 and applicable regulations. Assets and liabllltles
are Initlally re￿nISed at historlcal cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated In the relevant accountlng
pollcy notes.
The dIrectO￿ conslderthat there are no materfal uncertaintles about the chartys abilty to contlnue as a golng
oncern.

In preparing these accounts the Directors have conside￿d whether in applying the accountlng.pollcies requlred

(b) Fund accounting
Unrestricted funds are avallable for use at the dlscretlon of the trustees in furtherance of the general
objectlves of the charlty. Unrestricted funds comprtse of the charltys General Fund. Restricted funds are
subjected to restrictlons on thelr expenditure by the donor.
(c) Donatlons recelved
Donatlons are recognlsed as Income when the recelpt is probable. Where donations are re￿iVed speclflcally
relatlngtothe tharlty's adminlstrative costs ontythat part of the donation whlch matche5 the costs ts recogni5ed
as an Incomlng resource.
(d) Donatlons In klnd
Donatlons in kind are included wlthln these accounts at a fair value on recelpt to the charlty as as￿rtaIned by
the dlrectots and trustees. Where gifts are donated in fundralsln8 events the Income 8enerated Is recognlsed
In the financial statements.
(e) Charltable projert ald donatlons expendlture
The liability for donations expenditure 15 recognised when the trustees authorise expendlture.

Expenditure is recognised once there Is a le8al or constructive obligatlon to make a payment to
a thlrd party, It is probable that settlement wlll be requlred and the amount of the obligatlon
can be measured rellably.
Support costs are those funrtions that assist the WO￿ of the charfty but do not directly undertake
charitable activStles. Support costs indude office costs, finance costs and governan￿ costs. These
costs are allocated between the cost of raising funds and expenditure on charitable actNities.
Expenditure on charltable activities comprises those costs incurred by the charty to further the
purposes of the charty and their associated support costs.
Governance costs comprtse all costs invomng the wbllc accountablllty of the charlty and its
complIan￿ with regulations and good prattice.
(g) Incoming resourees
Incomlng resources are reco8nlsed in the period in which the tharity is entitled to thelr recelpt and
the amount can be measured with reasonable accuracy.
(h) Forel8n currendes
Assets and Ilabilities in foreign currencles are translated into sterlin8 at the rate of eKhan8e rullng
at the balan￿ sheet date.
Transactlons In foreign currency are translated into sterllng at the rate of exchange rulin8 at the
date of the transattion.

11. Company limlted by guarantee
The charity is limlted by guarantee and has no share capitsl. Each member has agreed to contribute
the sum of £1 in the event of the company beingwound up. The members of the company are the
Trustees and Directors narned on page 2.
12. Financial Commltments
At 3tst December 2024 there were commitments of £NII in respect of authorlsed but unpaid
donatlon expendtture (2023: £Nil)
13. Related party transactlons
HRH Crown Prlncess Katherlne of Serbia patron and founder of Lifeline Humanitsrian Organisation
in the UK Is also patron of The Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherlne based in Belgrade in
Serbia. No payments were made to The Foundatlon in the current year (2023: NIL).
The Trustees have no flnanclal interests in the charws results or assets.
14. Ultimate controlllng party
The charlty is ultimately controlled by the Board of Trustees who are also the Company's directors.
