Activities

The Trust mainly supports the training of cricketers under 21 years of age in the Lancashire county area. Assistance is given towards the funding of cricket development officers via the Lancashire Cricket Board. The trust writes applications for help from cricket clubs and individuals for training courses or for equipment, travel etc including representation out of the county.

Objects: I)to Advance For The Benefit Of The Public Within The County The Education Of Pupils And Students At Schools Universities And Other Educational Establishments (By Ensuring That The Due Attention Is Given To The Systematic Physical Education Of Such Young Persons As A Means Of Developing Their Character, Minds, Mental Co-Ordination, Self Discipline And Physical Fitness So That They Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society) Through The Organisation Or Provision (Or Assistance In The Organisation Or Provision) Of Facilities Which Will Encourage And Enable Such Young Persons To Play Cricket Or Other Games Or Sports. Ii)in The Interests Of Social Welfare To Organise Or Provide (Or Assist In The Organisation Or Provision Of) Facilities In The County For Physical Recreation (With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Persons For Whom The Facilities Are Primarily Intended).
