## Accounts Notes for year to 31/3/2024 

The bank balance at the end of the financial year was over £51,000. 

We have accumulated a substantial fund which will be needed when the rusting roof needs replacing and other refurbishment is required. 

We paid the capitation fee of £3,536 for 2024/5 before the year end. 

We received £6,447 from Go Cardless receipts for activities in previous years. 

The funds were held back due to an administrative problem. 

The 100 club surplus of £512 was about the same last year. 

Donations for using the hut were £2,550 increased by £1,100 compared with last year. 

We are registered with the Giving Machine but there are very few people using it. 

Last year we started a new contract for gas and electric with B Gas. 

Energy costs of £930 were slightly less than less than last year. 

We claimed the £2.968 Gift Aid for 2020, 2021 and 2022. 

The years 2023 and 2024 need to be claimed. 

We pay very low rates due to a rebate which is currently being reviewed.

The Hut insured value has been increased to £400,000 

Contents insured for £9,400 

Lease 99 years from Rookery Estates from 3rd Jan 1997
