## **Accounts Notes for year to 31/3/2021** 

The bank balance at the end of the financial year was over £34,000. 

In this financial year we continued to refurbish the toilets and exterior. The toilet and entrance floors were completed, the external cladding and windows were replaced. There will be some additional expenditure for plumbing and wiring and heating in the next financial year. After this period we have committed to donating £1,000 to the Downe purchase fund. 

We have paid the District capitation of £2,247 for 2021. 

The 100 club surplus of £448 was higher than last year. 

Donations include £600 from a cub grandparent. 

Grants from Bromley Council relating to the Covid shutdown were £20,193 

We are registered with the Giving Machine but there are very few people using it. 

We have received some small donation from Amazon Smile, these could be substantial if more support was received. 

We claimed the 15/16 Gift Aid last year, subsequent years need to be claimed. 

Each completed Gift Aid Form for subs gives us the opportunity to claim back about £30. 

## **Assets** 

The Hut insured value has been increased to £260,000 after the year end 

Contents insured for £3,640 

Lease 99 years from Rookery Estates from 3rd Jan 1997
