Section D Achievements and performance

During 2024, Jumpstart Pre-School continued to provide high-quality Summary of the main early years education and care to local families in Walnut Tree and the achievements of the charity surrounding areas. The preschool remained well-attended for most of the during the year year, with positive feedback from parents and a stable, experienced staff team. Trustees oversaw a smooth transition following changes to the board, welcoming several new parent trustees who have strengthened the governance of the charity. The team continued to uphold the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and maintained a warm, inclusive environment for children to learn and play. Looking ahead, the trustees are aware that child numbers have reduced during 2025, reflecting wider challenges faced by early years settings. Work is ongoing to promote the setting locally and to review sessional structures to ensure long-term sustainability.
