We work closely with the head teacher, school staff, and governors to determine annual fundraising priorities, and organise a range of fun events to raise money to support the agreed priorities. ## **Highlights of the Last Year** Fundraising events included: - Disco - Pumpkin Night - Christmas Fayre - Spring Bingo - Summer Festival Achieved significant donations ## **How the PTA has Benefited Pupils** Funding improvements such as: - Hall Projector - Forest School Fencing - KS2 Library Supported activities including: - Forest School - Music lessons - Supporting coach travel - Leavers experiences The level fundraising of achievements has only been possible due to the continued enthusiasm, ideas, and sheer hard work of the Committee along with strong links formed with the school staff, governors, and wider school community. 3 CUMNOR SCHOOL PTA ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS YEAR TO 31 AUGUST 2025 ## **Treasurer’s Report – Financial Year Ending 31 August 2025** Last academic year was again a really successful one for PTA fundraising, with combined efforts raising over £30,000 in total, and achieving a profit of over £19,000 after costs. Over £22,000 was raised from PTA events, with a profit of £14,500 and lots of fun along the way, which really is a fantastic and achievement. In addition to income from events, almost £8,000 was raised from donations and grants. This includes Just Giving fund raising campaigns, regular parent donations, as well as some specific one-off donations and grants. Just over £10,000 of the proceeds were donated to school in-year for enrichment activities, and the PTA is working closely with the school around further making donations in line school priorities in the near future, that deliver immediate benefit to the pupils.
