Muscliff preschool Is a popular choice In our lovety community and has been since 1990. It provide5 a wonderful pre school experience for tocal children taking their thrst steps on Ihe eduotr.onal ladder. Both my children attended this presclwjol artd ihey hod a fabuk)u5 time heft. I was a particularly fussy parent but as fve said to anyone who's ever asked me abovt the pSchool, 'every tlme I dropped them off, I felt as il I was leavirvd them wtth tsmily. In fart the reason l joined the committee and thtntualty beome Chalrperson was because I felt like I wanted to 8ive back. I wanted to do more than lust pay for a seThI. I wanted to help and support the staff in anyway I ¢¢uld. I found the main waythat myself and the committee could help w¥5 with fundralsln8. We have always lled heavily on the support of the community and OUT children's parents and their familie5 to help us. Sadly in recent years, thank5 to covid, we have seen a decrease in attendance to Ouf annual evems but I hope that 8oin8 forward ihls will now change with the start of a new academlc year, and as we welcome a new intske of children and their families. We must contlnue the emphasi5 on fvndraisin8 as the survhal of the Preschool will depend on it more than ever. This academic year the Chrlstma5 fryre raised £613 and our Easter fare raised £557. We hope to hold a quiz night in July and we also habe a few other ideas to finalise at our next committee meeting, so we will keep you posted. Your support would be greatly appreciated at any or all tsf thèse events. it's a 8reat way io meet other parents past and present arbj get to know more about the people our community.
